Am I bound to a fixed term contract when I subscribe to a Sinterix service?

No, all Sinterix services have no term contract. All plans are offered and payable on a
month-to-month basis.

Is there a termination fee when cancelling a service?

No, there are no termination fees as long as all equipment is returned in good condition.

Is there a shipping fee?

There is a shipping fee of $9.99 + tax to ship any equipment (modem or TV receiver) to you. The shipping fee is nonrefundable should you decide to cancel.

What is the warranty on any equipment I purchase from Sinterix?

You will have a 30-day money back guarantee and a one-year warranty on any equipment purchased from Sinterix.

What payment methods are available?

Our customers can pay by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express only. You will be pre-charged on your credit card as soon as your service is available.

INTERNET

How long will it take for my Internet service to be installed?

It takes approximately 10 business days for your Internet service to be installed.

Can I use my own modem?

Yes, however you should contact our support team to confirm that you are using a modem that is appropriate for the internet plan you order.

Do your modems have Wi-Fi capability?

Our DSL modems have Wi-Fi capability, but our Cable modems do not. For Cable modems, you will need to use a router to have Wi-Fi.

IPTV SERVICE

Do I need to switch Internet service provider to get Sinterix TV service?

Yes, in order to access our television products you must be on our Network.

How much data do I use to watch television?

An approximate amount of data usage is hard to estimate reliably since channels have different usage rates and individuals have very different viewing habits. All customers should be on unlimited internet plans to avoid paying overage charges for going over their data limits. All Sinterix internet plans are unlimited and competitively priced. Please refer to our bundles page for details of packages and pricing and see how much you can save by bundling.

Are the channels in High Definition or Standard Digital?

Most channels are in high definition unless they are only offered in SD from the source.

How many receivers do I need?

You will need 1 receiver for each TV in your home.
